Winter Holidays in Austria!

An Austrian winter vacation, just the way it is supposed to be. When, every year, Old Man Winter blankets the mountains and countryside surrounding Hotel Lürzerhof in white, you know that the winter season has well and truly started in SalzburgerLand. Ski holidays in Obertauern and the Sportwelt Amade, countless kilometers of pistes ranging from easy to challenging, all just waiting for you. And we shouldn't forget the numerous freeski runs either - feel free to stop by the reception for some great tips and important additional information. And the free ski bus to the Obertauern ski area leaves from right outside our front door (about a 10-minute ride, no stops until you get there), which also means you can happily leave your car parked in the underground garage.

Our Gnadenalm is one of the most beautiful places to spend part of your winter holiday. A magical, almost pristine area of high alpine pastures at 1350 meters above sea level. And up at the Gnadenalm, you will find one of the most beautiful and snowiest cross-country ski trails in all of Austria. The floodlit sled run , with its unique snowmobile taxi service, promises great fun for the whole family. Sleigh rides through the snowy winter countryside of our Gnadenalm are a true nature experience. A magical winter hiking path and over 15 km of tracked ski trails add the perfect finishing touches to our Gnadenalm. And the famous Tauernloipe XC trail runs right past the Lürzerhof, too.

One highlight during your winter holiday in Austria will undoubtedly be the heated outdoor pool here at the Lürzerhof. No matter what the winter weather, you will be able to unwind in one of the most beautiful wellness areas in SalzburgerLand, spanning over 1,000 m², as well as swim in our outdoor pool, heated to over 33° Celsius.
